lets skip the 14th bcos i couldn't quite recall what we did that day. oh yah..that's because we didn't do anything. ayah wasn't well, and after the office hours, mcik ita and mama went shopping for groceries.
so, THE 15TH OF AUGUST! Lil bro's Birthday! he was finally 15(according to him) and already in some kind of memory lost trouble. he couldn't remember his own bloody age! aye caramba. that mornin;
mama: Happy birthday! how old are you now??..(all smiley..)
anip: fifteen
me (interrupt as always): heh, you wish! ur 14!
mama: ape ni umor sendiri pon tak igt...
anip: oow...
so much for his 14th birthday.
12.30pm, ustaz came to pick us up for this kenduri ramadhan he was having at his house. All malaysians were invited. the food, as usual, was inexplicable and exquisite. laksa penang, pulut n rendang, nasi briyani, ikan masin, sambal udang, nasi hujan pnas and etc. enough said la. it's food heavens every single time.
smbahyang zuhur berjemaah, then ada tazkirah about ramadhan in the basement. then, continuation of bersantapan.
my family and i however, went for furniture hunting
for the new rental house(http://www.1414longvalley.com/). we needed some couch, coffee table, my bed n stuff:D (they'd shoped for their beds ages ago. even along has got his...). so, we went to Value City first and found this bed mama recommended (i've always had a thing with white furnitures so this time, i'm not giving a way my chances. kat mlaysia payah nk cari..mahai plak tu);
cute..but i dont really like the empty space up above the arranged pillows. and it was rather pointy. buttt it was pretty and i don't mind having a really girlish bed. so, we couldn't decide and off we went crossing the road to go to the other side for Ashley furniture. we found this bed..
mature looking huh? slightly. i only wish my room would look like this only everyone knows my room itself it as big as this queen sized bed. haha. sooo..we (i.e. mama n i) still couldn't decide..we've seen better that this but in the affordable price range, it's hard to get. we were there for hours and ayah sempat tido lg sambil duduk. hehe. so, that is my first queen size bed!(it's not like i need one..i think i'm better of with single beds. anything bigger than that is not gonna fit my room. seriously. single beds look cuter in my room and i'd rather use the space to MOVE around rather being squashed. i'd argue that with mama but then, she would wanna bring up abt how im growing up and im gona it need it anyway. ew no!) alhamdulillah...syukur atas limpah rezeki kurniNya :)
after that(think it was 8 pm already?), we went to Sears, clothing outlet. clearance sale everywhere. i got a lil frenzied at first but then, slowly i started gaining my sane back again after reminding myself the purpose i was there. i was supposed to buy a birthday present for anip (not me) because it was his birthday(not mine).
but hear me out! if i hadn't bought this cuute cardigan for myself, i probably wouldn't have had any idea what to buy him, so in a way, that was kinda of a boost up to get me going (oh u know.., it's like my nasi lemak before going to school. it's completely understandable) bcos in the end, i bought him A CARDIGAN! :D:D haha. there's a surprise. see how it led me? genius :)
it looked something like this only anip's was waaaaaay cheaper. which was exactly what i was goin for! haha. (hey, janji ikhlas tau!) i couldn't even get that price in pasar malam. whatever it is, Anip loved it(and i didn't even force him to). kudos for me. congrats2 :DDDDD.
speaking of which, i thought i should have bought another one..for along :( but it didn't occur to me that time. hmm..regrettsss. (sokeh2, nnt ajak ayah p situ semule). what happened on the 16th, now i remembered. i rang alongggg! (after being nagged by my dad..hehe. i wouldn't know what to say to him!! i cant say i miss you...that's alien weird for us brothers n sisters rite?). but i rang anyway, simply coz he's getting all frustrated that anip and i hadn't called him (apart form being nagged:P). he sent me a long never ending essay-like message telling to keep in touch and what not. hm..i really miss him. but dont tell him yah :P
