okeh. syukur alhamdulillah, im done with my week. actually, we're never finished at anything as long as we live and breath :)
em, last week, alhamdulillah3, the Maulidur Rasul event held at my place went smoothly. i wished i couldve invited more people to come though. mama cooked the main dish. i did deserts..kek batik n sponge cake donut-like for anty ita n saddiq. it so happened that their birthdays arrived that week too. didnt think i was gona make a cake until that morning. i got nothin to help around in the kitchen. mama prefers me do my stuff i guess. otherwise, she'd tell me to chop up the onion and other prep stuff. got all that out of the way..and decided to amuse myself by baking a cake. somehow i managed to wreck the mixer. hmm...ganaih.
first guests, anty ita..then the boys came. friends from purdue, hakim n paan. they were there to buy meats anyway. Zabiha Halal Meat kat devon :) anty sara n family came..and the suddenly my house started to get so many crowds. farthest guests we had, those who came all the way from Madison, Wisconsin. met them at CNY Madison the other day :)
12 o'clock, eveyone went downstairs, in the basement and did zuhr jemaah prayer. we did zikr, tahlil and ape yg patut..there was this lil boy came whispering at me saying he needed to peepee. oke je. but there was a funny story behind it and im not telling. lol. when i came back to seat where i was, there were some kids, god-knows-how, got all my stuff down! pillow, soft toys (gifts from people! i dont play with them anymore:P), cards and so many random personal junks of mine. how emberassing T_T..sokeh..i forgave you grrls.
i didnt notice when the guests started leaving cos i was a bit occupied with the kids. then, i had to put adeline to sleep...which was nice :)
food, needless to say aite. exotic like always. nevertheless i didnt get to taste em until late at night, i think after all the guests had gone home. bdk2 chi planned to go to cinema that night but i had to pass..i had so many more things to get done :(
