السلام عليكم
Kak Asmah dah selamat kembali ke rahmatullah pada jam 4.30 pagi waktu Malaysia = 30 Ogos 2010.
mase dpt news tu, rumah sibuk dgn tetamu..ade meeting and iftar sket kat rumahku. then, anty sara broke the news to ayah in person after receiving a phone call. i had a funny feelings..then, ayah calmly went to the kitchen where most people were and made the announcement that she had deceased. Innalillahhi wainna ilaihirojiun..
apparently when i checked my phone, already i received a message from syahmie informing me of the news. then, another came in from sis dayana..
arwah and husband, abg salmi went back to malaysia on the 21st august (if i'm not mistaken). she was already back home in Desa Darulaman, Jitra. Subhanallah, Engkau Maha Besar, Ya Allah...that 30th August morning, she suddenly experienced suffocation and God's will, ajal had come to invite her before she could make it to the hospital.
Al-Fatihah and Yaasin for arwah...moga arwah di tempatkan bersama-sama golongan ahli syurga, mukmin, mukminat dan para syuhada'Mu...
recap, kak asmah, PhD student in SIU, 3rd year, advanced student, a mother of 4 young heroes, a wife, my neighbor.... family kak asmah and abg sham came to our place in chicago from carbondale end of spring. i was tennesse that time. missed them. visited them in carbondale twice in two months' time. last visit was on 12 August. she was back admitted in the hospital, this time, after diagnosed with lung cancer, heart failure, possible of brain tumor; she was suspected of Meningitis...last words i said to her, 'Kite jumpe kat Desa Darulaman nanti, inshaAllah...:)' when she was there, she was complaining that she lost her earring...her favorite channel whilst in the hospital was the channel that sells things...and ear rings were on auction. kitorang kate inshaAllah balik nnt kite beli subang baru...and she smiled.
Allah lebih sayangkan arwah :')
Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same...
Everything we own is borrowed. And borrowed things need to be returned back to the Owner, Al-Khaliq.Alhamdulillah for lending me these priceless assets.
Now I know I'm calm to learn they were never mine but truly, only Yours. Nor would I grieve over what happened but smile, instead, knowing they are in better hands.
Everyday is a preparation. EVERYDAY IS YOUR POSSIBLE DAY, ateeqa nasha!
