sport ward eve

2.40pm returned home from school. mama collected me from home to go to NHS Hospital coz i had a doctor appointment. we got stuck in the diverted traffic and therefore were late for 5 mins. oh my days. never on time!


after settling, they still accepted us. gud eyy? then, about 15 mins or so, after arranging another appointment on monday (tomorrow) at 8.40pm, again, we were stuck in the traffic with many others possibly returning home from work, mama was already late for work. so, i decided to go with her and help her out. her part time job is at 5 till 7. since mama had a helping hand, we managed to finish it by 6.20pm. her supervisor doesnt really mind as long as her job is finished shud she need to go elsewhere early.

then, reached home, got dressed, quickly called for along who was still lepaking with Braden. then, we went to Burleigh for the Sports Awards Eve at Burleigh College in the hall.

the VIPs were from incredible British athelers. i swear she was familiar from European Olympics 2007 coz mama and i watched her in tv.

during the presentation, the movie of highlights from the olympics of her were shown and i was right. fuuh. Gold medalist. managed to talk to her in person at the end of the event and took a pict together :). she's so friendly! she even conratulated me :D

after talking about rugby, basketball, netball and hockey, Mr Radcliffe (the potato couch coach) was called to give out a speech on Badminton. a fraction of his speech was about me all along, apparently! didnt know i was gonna be awarded The Girls Badminton Team Manager 2007 coz before, gulcin (turkish girl who too does badminton) and i were elbowing each other saying it's you, no it's you. :D:D. got a cup for that.

lol...i bet Mahdi was gutted coz he's the one who's been tryna impress sir all the time by playing dirty. see! let that be a moral to you. :P naa. he's nice really.

last but not least, my name was announced again for being nominated The Sport Personality Of The Year and i got given a certificate :) alhamdulillah.

i was also handed in a certificate of achievement for representing Burleigh at basketball. :) syukurr~

for once in a blue moon, i felt good about myself. :) it was rather a gud night and my girl friends cudn't have been more supportive :D they were the loudest crowd.

nevertheless i still do feel so alone...
