sambil browsing through for some inspiring videos, *ehem*, aku tertgk video Anthony Robbins pagi tadi psl Making Decisions, towards the end dia bukak pula cerita psl 9/11...
I was in Hawaii.
I was with 20 000 ppl wfrom 45 countries with 4 languages translated simultaneously for a program i was conducting for a week.
the night before was called "The Emotional Mastery".
I got up, I had no plan for this and I suddenly said,
"When do you people really start to live?"
"When I face death."
"If you were gonna get off this island, if nine days from now you were gonna die, who would you call, what would you say, what would you do?"
At that night was when 9/11 happened, one woman who came to that seminar, when she came there, her previous boyfriend had been kidnapped and murdered. Her friend or her new boyfriend wanted to marry her and she said no..
he said, "If you leave and go to that Hawaii thing, then it's over with us."
And she said it's over.
When I finished that night, she called him and left him a message on his phone where he worked at the top of the World Trade Center, she was saying "Honey I love you, I just wanted you to know I wanna marry you..It was stupid of me."
She was asleep ..it was 3 am where we were, when he called her back saying, "Honey you don't know what this means to me." He said "You just gave me the greatest gift. I don't know how to tell you this..but I'm going to die."...and she played the recording for us in that room.
Allah, mlm ni aku sgt tersentuh dgn kejadian 9/11...;'(
kat TV, everywhere, now, is playing programs about 9/11 and today is the 7/11. Frankly kejadian tu sentiasa menghantui aku. mmg tak dpt dinafikan, ramai Muslim yg terkorban dlm insiden ni. tapi itu bukanlah alasan simpati aku. Muslim tak Muslim, yang innocent juga terkorban...wallahualam bissawab. kite tak tahu hikmah Allah. yg aku tahu, kejadian ni sgt profound bg kite semua yang prihatin dan berfikir.
aku mengimbau movie Mooz-lum yg aku tgk last year berkenaan 9/11 dan lagi dua hari, Jumaat, 9/11/2011, AMC Chicago akn tayangkan movie Fordson - Football, Fasting Faith. aku bangga dgn saudara mara aku dan semua org yang terlibat dlm usaha membasmikan stereotypes dan misconceptions on Muslims. ini semangat interfaith.kite tak mampu buat sorang2. aku pun nak sumbangkan sesuatu...after 10 years, through much adversities, it's up to us to choose whether to by the easier or the harder way to learn, accept and grow together with others who are different from us.

Ya Allah Tuhan pemilik hati2 ini, isikanlah setiap penjuru hati kami dgn kasih sayang yang melimpah ruah. Penuhkanlah hati2 kami mawaddah dan ihsan. Namun Ya Rabb, tinggalkanlah segenap ruang di hati kami utk membenci segala keburukan, perkara yang haram dan mungkar. Amin.
